Tsiothohrha Artist of the Month!
Linda Jackson is our artist of the month for Tsiothohrha (time of cold). (Check out http://www.kahonwes.com/language/mohawk_months.html for a list of the meanings of each month.)
Linda makes fancy baskets in the “classic” Mohawk fancy basket style. She was taught mainly by Mae Bigtree, who passed on some of her styles to Linda, including the wampum basket.
